Can I put scrap metal in my garbage or blue bag in Edmonton?
No. The City of Edmonton does not allow scrap metal in household garbage or recycling bins. It must be taken to an Eco Station or scrap yard — or picked up by a service like ours.
What types of scrap metal can you pick up?
We remove most residential and commercial metal items, including aluminum, steel, copper, and brass. This includes metal furniture, pipes, fencing, tools, and appliances (as part of a bundle).
Do I need to separate the metal before pickup?
No, we handle sorting and loading. If it’s mixed with general junk, just let us know in advance so we can quote appropriately.
Do you pay for scrap metal?
For small residential pickups, we charge for the service. For large commercial loads of valuable scrap (e.g., copper wiring), we may offer a partial rebate. Let’s talk.
Can I bundle scrap metal removal with other junk?
Absolutely! Many of our customers include scrap metal when booking junk removal, appliance recycling, or renovation debris pickup. We’ll give you a better rate for a combined job.
What if the metal is in my basement or backyard?
No problem. We remove scrap from wherever it is - inside, outside, upstairs, or down. Just let us know what kind of access you have when booking.
